I am a 30 plus year Minneapolis resident in what was once a near model city of diversity and inclusion, which has lost its way to seemingly rudderless leadership without vision. I'm a member of the Minnesota Democractic-Farmer-Labor Party. I, like many residents feel Minneapolis has lost its way because of an unresponsive City Council run amok without regard for protecting city residents or small businesses. The council is pushing unrealistic and overly idealistic policies that at the end of the day are not improving peoples' safety or quality of life.

I would be firm on crime, implement more vocational training at a high school level and start offering home down payment grants to residents after three years of full-time employment. My down payment grant program would help everyone feel a part of our city's prosperity, and overall hope for the future.

I will fix and improve our metropolis that has been mishandled and misguided by ideologs with no real management experiences.
